This image, created digitally by Greg Jalbert was made into a heat-transfer and affixed to a T-shirt which was given as a gift at the BG50 celebration.

Greg is known for his development of digital tools as well as amazing works in both visual and aural realms, in analog as well as digital media.

Now a fashion designer (at least T-shirts!), he's also the main technologist for Radio-V and the force behind Imaja.

And he does an incredible job
Of honoring friends,
With his verse and his love

Dear Brother Bob

Tis to you that I lob
From me, the mildly poetic Traub
an extended koan to honor your 50th

a varied and various rhyme
that's been "channeled" over time
to give story to this 50 year Bobbie myth

Rumored as a strong man once and present percussive
Having worked witih too many bands to be discussive
one who none the less, remains harmonious to his very gait

So much so to once even be recruited
To a ballet role typically given of men slightly fruited
But bear it he did (oh boy did he get a lot of dates)

A man so musical that his logic this both straight and recurssive
So brilliant as to understand both production and things 3d Immersive
Bottom line: a fast study that can deliver on anything he promises

To some a production guy that creates and manages artie expos
To another, a publishing type so long there's little he doesn't know
And yet others, a political electronic rights author and visionary whose won all skirmishes

And is a better man for them

Who despite occasionally tumultuous personals schisms that have seemed to come from no where
Who's sometimes wondered if the number of challenges he's faced were actually fair, has always maintained his integrity and loyalty

has never wavered from his gaze, his loving embrace
has never compromised his friendships, an innocent space
in fact.. so vulnerable, so often exposed... his communicates as emotions royalty

How to touch and describe the deep seed that is our friend robert
how to capture and share, in freedom, his 50 years ... in a heartbeat
I would say with the single word 'love'

His pausing smile saying...oh come on now, dave
I knew you'd ryhme this eve in loving wave...
But wouldn't you say yer laudin' a touch in excess?

No my wonderful, dynamic brother bob
Only accolades and warmth from all of us.. channeled by yer brother, traub
You are obviously loved, and therein can be calculated your greatest success...

As an artist, as a producer, as a man and as a friend..
Happy 50th, brother Bob. YOU've earned it...
